Visit with Grandparents

You went to visit your grandparents on Mommy's side. They were all very excited to see you. Everyone raved about how good you were. We didn't get to see your Aunt Jennifer, Uncle Jason or Cousin Julianna, but hopefully we will see them soon. Papa gave you applesauce for the first time while you were there. I think the jury is still out on whether or not you like it. You also got taken shopping while you were there. We found lots of cute clothes for you. Everyone was sad to see you go, but your Daddy missed you and Mommy very much. So, we decided we would come home a little early. Daddy was very glad to see you.

Dear Joel:

Isn't your Mommy clever too put all this together for you?! Most babies only get a calendar. Yes, we were all very excited to have you and Mommy come to Commerce for several days. This will have to be an annual event now! And, yes, we were all so impressed with how happy and content you are -- so easy to care for. You might have another cousin if my two boys had been like you!
With Lots of Love,
Aunt Martha
