Meeting Munson
You got to meet Larry Munson, the voice of the Georgia Bulldogs. He had a signing at Sports Addiction. I didn't really care about getting anything signed, I just wanted to get your picture taken with him. While I was standing in line, though, I figured I should get him to sign something. I had an extra UGA onesie with me in case you got the outfit you were wearing "dirty" and I decided I would have him sign that. I didn't really have anything else with me and I didn't want to buy anything just for him to sign. Munson gave me the strangest look when I gave him a baby's onesie to sign, but he signed it. He warmed up, however, when I handed you over for a picture. Vince Dooley was also there. Apparently I was remiss in not getting your picture with him also (as I've since found out from various UGA fans). The way the signing was setup we had to stand in line and go past Vince Dooley to get to Larry Munson. When the line moved so that we were in front of Dooley I tried to make polite small talk to avoid drawing attention to the fact that I wasn't here to see him, but it eventually came out that we were only there to see Munson. You see, you had to have a purchased ticket to get an autograph and I thought it would be rude to ask for a picture without a ticket. Dooley was gracious and everyone thought you were very handsome in your UGA outfit.

Visit with Grandparents
You went to visit your grandparents on Mommy's side. They were all very excited to see you. Everyone raved about how good you were. We didn't get to see your Aunt Jennifer, Uncle Jason or Cousin Julianna, but hopefully we will see them soon. Papa gave you applesauce for the first time while you were there. I think the jury is still out on whether or not you like it. You also got taken shopping while you were there. We found lots of cute clothes for you. Everyone was sad to see you go, but your Daddy missed you and Mommy very much. So, we decided we would come home a little early. Daddy was very glad to see you.

Little Newspaper Man
While we were at UGA I picked up a Red & Black for your daddy's newspaper class. I decided to let you look at the newspaper while lying on a couch in the Tate Center, which is a common UGA student activity. You seemed very interested in the paper. Seeing you looking at it reminded me of a picture your Granny Stroud has of your daddy with newspapers. I hope you end up liking journalism a much as your daddy does!

Visit to UGA
Well, we didn't get to see Uga like we thought, but we had a good time at UGA. We did some shopping, which was lots of fun for mommy and then we walked around the UGA campus. It was hard for me to get some good pictures of you, because it was just you and me, but I was determined to get some good UGA themed pictures. Eventually we took a break on the lawn in front of the Journalism building. I got some pretty good pictures of you there. Daddy didn't think much of them, because he said we could have taken pictures of you on our lawn, but you and I know that they were on a UGA lawn and that's what's important.

Picture with Grandaddy Stroud
Last Sunday you had your picture made with Grandaddy Stroud. You both had on your matching blue striped seersucker outfits. The employees at Picture People looked at me like I was crazy to come in again so soon. I tried to tell them it was all your grandaddy's idea, but they didn't seem to believe me. It seemed like they thought I was trying to pull one over on them. It wasn't a big thing, they took the pictures like normal. And they ended up getting plenty of money for their pictures that day (versus zero dollars the last time we were there)! You did very well in the pictures. I love the picture where your Grandaddy Stroud is looking at you and you are standing. I'm glad you'll have these pictures when you are older.

Cereal
We finally tried cereal tonight. I think you kind of liked it. You did have trouble keeping it in your mouth, though. I eventually tried giving you a bottle with water in it after each bite. That seemed to help a bit. I think you got the idea, because you started sucking your thumb after each bite. I heard that your Papa has bought some cereal to feed you when we visit. So, I figured I better give you a bit of a head start to get you a little used to cereal.

Picture People
We went walking with Miss Celeste and Emmet today. Emmet was having his picture done at the Picture People place. I was just planning on waiting there while he had his picture done. In fact, you had something to eat while we waited. We weren't going to get your picture made there, because they are kind of pricey. BUT they happened to offer us a deal because it was our first time there. We got a free sitting and one free sheet. The only trouble was that they would take lots of pictures of you and Mommy could only choose one, because Daddy said she shouldn't buy anything today. Well Daddy should be very proud. I managed to pick just one picture! I got a great picture of you and paid nothing.
